  • Leverage financial models to inform decision-making

Regulatory Compliance:
  • Adhere to industry standards, design requirements, and test strategies aligned with regulatory requirements
  • Create or refine engineering documentation, such as Design History files
  • FOLLOW R&D procedure like design controls and risk management, per the Quality Management System

General Expectations:
  • Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing, and Project Management to ensure project success
  • Process and assimilate complex procedures, policies, processes, systems, and technology required
  • Apply advanced experience and learnings to tackle complex problems
  • Demonstrate ownership and prioritize work with minimal supervision
  • Contribute as a key member of the team, fostering relationships and collaboration

Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical, ideally with 2+ years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:Technical Skills:
  • Working knowledge and understanding of mechanical engineering practices and design principles
  • Techincal ability to create engineering drawings and models, applying GD&T and CAE tools
  • Demonstrated ability to apply knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes to product design
  • Ability to communicate basic plans and technical information to team members
