Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to work with children with complex needs and their families in a person-centred, community-based, socially inclusive manner.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services including assessment, intervention, programme planning, monitoring, consultation, and onward referral services. They will also prioritise referrals, assess and recommend adaptive equipment, and participate in the Assessment of Need (AON) process.

This is a full-time permanent position with incremental pay-scale, free onsite car parking, generous annual leave, comprehensive pension, paid maternity leave, paid sick leave scheme, cycle to work scheme, family-friendly policies, training and educational opportunities, and a supportive working environment.

Requirements include a BSc Degree in Occupational Therapy, CORU Registration or advanced stage, Full Clean Driving license, and use of a car. Experience in working with ID and/or Autism is desirable.

  • Assess and develop individualised programmes for children with complex needs.
  • Provide occupational therapy interventions to promote independence, participation, and well-being.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports.
