Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and driven Gallery Producer to join our team. As a key player in producing live television, you will be responsible for delivering top-quality content while working under pressure.

About the Role:

  • You will guide programme editorial, ensuring content is aligned with our objectives and editorial standards.
  • You will produce live output, providing editorial direction on-air to the production team and presenters.
  • You will oversee forward planning, identifying great stories, booking talent, and managing future events.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop impactful segments that are both entertaining and informative.
  • Manage daily editorial tasks, including overseeing content changes and delivering live direction.
  • Collaborate closely with the Supervising Producer to develop new content ideas.
  • Inspire and mentor researchers to find strong content and support the development of the show.

Requirements:

  • A highly creative and driven individual with excellent editorial judgement.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to adjust editorial direction on the fly.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • A degree or qualification in Broadcast Media, Communications, or a related field.

Skills & Expertise:

  • Strong understanding of entertainment and current affairs television.
  • Excellent editorial judgement with a talent for identifying compelling stories and relevant content.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
