Healthcare Professional Opportunity

Clinical Sales Specialist role involves working with patients and healthcare professionals to provide guidance, support, advice and counseling. The ideal candidate will have a recognized stoma care qualification and experience in the community setting.

The Role

As a Clinical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering our promise of patient-centered care to individuals requiring ostomy care solutions. You will work closely with patients, their families/carers and healthcare professionals to ensure that individual needs are met and patients are able to make informed choices about their own care.

You will provide nursing intervention advice and education to promote patient autonomy and improve quality of life. Your territory will be Ireland and occasional overnights may be required for meetings and conferences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance, support, advice and counseling to patients and their family/carers along the continuum of care.
  • Recognise when an individual is unable to manage their stoma care independently, and actively formulate an alternative plan of care.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and data collection.
  • Work effectively with other healthcare professionals to develop relationships and establish referrals.
  • Participate in educational sessions and develop relations with Key Opinion Leaders in the Ostomy marketplace.
  • Develop and drive patient education forums incorporating Me+.
  • Maintain flexibility within your territory and service all patients and HCPs who require our service.
  • Identify areas of nursing practice that would benefit from research and share findings with others.
  • Be a specialist resource for the sales team, helping them to understand clinical needs.
Requirements
  • Qualified Nurse RGN (essential)
  • Community / district nurse experience desirable.
  • Recognised Stoma Care Qualification desirable.
  • Car driver essential; Full driving license required.
  • Proven experience with an interest in the stoma care / colorectal area.
  • Evidence of recent post-registration training and development.
  • Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
Working Requirements
  • Travel across your territory.
  • Occasional overnights for meetings and conferences.
