Role Summary

This Specific Purpose Contract position plays a vital role in supporting the development and execution of consumer communications strategies for Bord Bia. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure we achieve effective coverage and profile in line with our organisation's mission.


Main Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement comprehensive communications plans across key projects, such as Bloom and domestic consumer campaigns.
  2. Maintain strong relationships with external agencies, including PR, digital marketing, photography, videography, content production, copywriting, and media buying partners.
  3. Oversee the activation and management of sponsorships.
  4. Lead the management of B2C social media channels.
  5. Cultivate and coordinate influencer marketing initiatives to support event-based and ongoing consumer campaigns.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:


Essential Requirements:
  • Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in Ireland's media landscape, including traditional and digital channels.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a communications or marketing role.

Desirable Requirements:
  • Paid digital advertising experience is beneficial.
  • Public Sector experience is beneficial.
  • A growth mindset for continuous learning and improvement.
