Job Title: Experienced Private Equity Fund Accounting Leader

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Private Equity Fund Accounting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the team, managing workloads, and ensuring deadlines are met.

  • Lead and support a growing team of Private Equity Fund Accountants.
  • Review and oversee net asset values, valuations, and client reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage workloads efficiently while meeting client service levels and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide coaching, training, and continuous development for team members.
  • Act as the key liaison with clients, auditors, and external stakeholders.
  • Drive improvements in processes, automation, and reporting quality.
  • Contribute to the department's strategic goals and business priorities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • 10+ years post-qualification experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Irish/UK GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS.
  • Experience reviewing net asset values.
  • Proven people leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and manage teams.
  • Strong client service orientation and ability to engage confidently with stakeholders.
  • Private Equity Fund Accounting knowledge (or willingness to develop quickly).
