Civil Engineering Development Opportunities

This role presents a chance for recent graduates to expand their industry knowledge and hone their skills within multidisciplinary teams.

About the Position:

Our organization is offering a limited number of early career opportunities through our Graduate Programme each year. Graduates will have the opportunity to work on key infrastructure projects across various sectors, including Energy, Rail, Active Travel, and Highways.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Playing a crucial role in the design and delivery of projects for both public and private clients.
  • Assisting senior engineers to ensure effective project completion.
  • Carrying out site visits/surveys (under supervision) as required.
  • Developing technical skills by preparing designs.
  • Preparing drawings and technical reports.
  • Maintaining high-quality standards across projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Educated to degree level 8/9 (engineering degree).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and positive attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in English).
  • Initiative, flexible approach, and ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work effectively with the Microsoft suite of programs.
  • Capability to use design programs used by engineering professionals.
  • Attention to detail and ability to comply with Quality Assurance Management Systems.
