Job Title

We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Specialist to join our team in a Quantity Surveyor role. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in procurement and contract management, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with our procurement team to procure major capital works and services, ensuring compliance with EU Directives, statutory regulations, and internal procedures. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting end-to-end tender processes for EPC, Civil, and Electrical Contracting;
  • Working closely with framework owners/managers to define requirements and identify appropriate procurement strategies;
  • Assisting in the preparation of annual procurement plans and category plans;
  • Providing support, advice, and direction for categories of spend;
  • Ensuring procurement legislation/procedures are followed and maintained.

The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of procurement legislation and procedures, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A minimum of 5 years' relevant work experience;
  • Significant experience in procurement or contract/commercial management of construction projects;
  • A high level of commitment, commercial acumen, and excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Experience in drafting tender documents and contracts for major building, civil engineering, or utilities projects;
  • A clear focus on delivery of high-quality work.
