Operations Management Role

The Operations Manager position involves overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, focusing on food and beverage areas.

We seek a dynamic candidate with experience in hotel operations and excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Fully responsible for overseeing all departments, prioritizing F&B areas.
  • Support Heads of Department in running the hotel efficiently.
  • Install efficient work methods and systems to improve productivity.
  • Review staff rotas for adequate cover and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Ensure kitchens and premises meet health and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular operations team meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
  • Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and monitor their application.
  • Monitor purchases and communicate with management regarding inventory levels.
  • Compile financial reports detailing revenue and staff performance.
  • Control stock of Food and Beverage and maintain quality standards.
  • Engage with suppliers/vendors to source quality products at competitive prices.
  • Inspect departments for cleanliness and hospitality culture, ensuring high standards are met.
  • Work with Sales & Events Manager to prepare sales plans and drive business growth.
  • Plan for future business and make informed decisions to drive success.
  • Maintain Health & Safety as a top priority and promote a safe working environment.
  • Assess customer satisfaction and implement service recovery processes to resolve issues.
  • Identify staff development needs and provide constructive feedback to support growth and development.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in F&B management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work weekends and be flexible with working hours.
  • Professional appearance and presentation at all times.
  • Able to devise solutions, motivate the team, and drive results-oriented outcomes.
