The Role of a Senior Quality Assurance Manager

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Quality Assurance team in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, managing laboratory activities, and overseeing training programs. This role involves implementing quality control measures to ensure accurate test results, identifying areas for improvement, and developing corrective actions.

This position requires a strong leadership style, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving high-quality outcomes. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of cGMP regulations, EU GMP guidelines, and analytical techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including cGMP and EU GMP guidelines
  • Managing laboratory activities, including testing, calibration, and maintenance of equipment
  • Overseeing training programs to ensure staff competence and adherence to protocols
  • Developing and implementing corrective actions to address quality control issues
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a science-based discipline (e.g., chemistry, biology)
  • At least 10-15 years of experience in a pharmaceutical environment, with 5+ years in senior or management roles
  • Extensive knowledge of cGMP regulations and EU GMP guidelines
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to motivate and guide a team towards achieving high-quality outcomes
