Job Title

  • A Fire Extinguisher Service Technician is required to conduct regular inspections and maintenance of fire extinguishers, perform repairs and recharges as needed, document service activities, and educate clients on fire safety.
Required Skills
  • Conducting inspections and maintenance of fire extinguishers in accordance with safety regulations.
  • Performing repairs and recharges on fire extinguishers as needed.
  • Documenting service activities and maintaining accurate records of inspections and repairs.
  • Educating clients on fire safety and proper use of fire extinguishers.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues related to fire protection equipment.
  • Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal fire safety regulations.
  • Responding promptly to service requests and meeting deadlines for inspections.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a fire extinguisher service technician or in a related field.
  • Certification in fire safety or a relevant technical qualification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of fire safety standards and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Physically fit and able to handle the demands of the job including lifting and carrying equipment.
