Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Cash Collection Specialist to join our finance team.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Ireland.

The role involves managing customer accounts and ensuring timely payments, tracking payments and following up on overdue accounts, processing customer payments and credits accurately and efficiently, reconciling accounts and resolving billing discrepancies.

Liaising with sales and other departments to ensure alignment between financial records and customer activity, maintaining accurate financial records and updating accounting systems regularly, providing reporting on receivables, outstanding balances, and customer payment trends.

About the Role:

  • Managing customer accounts and ensuring timely payments
  • Tracking payments and following up on overdue accounts
  • Processing customer payments and credits accurately and efficiently
  • Reconciling accounts and resolving billing discrepancies
  • Liaising with sales and other departments to ensure alignment between financial records and customer activity
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and updating accounting systems regularly
  • Providing reporting on receivables, outstanding balances, and customer payment trends

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in cash collection, finance or customer-facing financial roles
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
