Procurement Manager

The role of Procurement Manager is responsible for establishing and leading the development of multi-year sourcing strategies. The manager will ensure continuity of services by optimizing value across datacenter infrastructure equipment maintenance and services. This position requires a strategic thinker who can lead cross-functional teams to integrate business specifications into supplier selection processes.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute multi-year sourcing strategies to ensure continuity of services.
  • Establish functional standards, define performance expectations, and set success metrics for procurement professionals.
  • Manage complex pricing issues across purchasing categories while addressing unresolved escalations and driving process changes.
  • Provide strategic oversight in improving Service Level Agreement and deliverables.

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance or related field AND experience in Data Science/Analytics, Finance, Project Management, Supply Chain, and/or Operations.
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance or related field AND experience in Data Science/Analytics, Finance, Project Management, Supply Chain, and/or Operations.
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • Category Management experience in one or more key categories including Data Center Equipment, Mechanical & Electrical Equipment or IT Hardware.
  • Skilled project management experience plus exceptional communication and influencing skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong commercial understanding and experience developing contractual frameworks for relevant categories.
  • Knowledge of data center industry and experience managing project delivery methods.
  • Technical ability to write contracts, negotiate strategies, and execute them.
  • Excellent communicator that can interact with diverse groups across organizational levels.
