Job Title: Continuous Integration Specialist

The Enterprise Enablement & Cloud Solutions team is responsible for delivering platform and technology enablement, quality assurance, framework and standards leadership, and enterprise apps management.

This role involves creating continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to deliver on pipeline standards and targets for technology to introduce efficiencies and improve quality.

  • Key accountabilities include:
  • Contributing to the DevOps community of practices.
  • Promoting new DevOps tooling and strategy.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving build and deployment issues.
  • Collaborating across development, test, infrastructure, security, and operations teams.
  • Providing training and mentoring to Dev teams on DevSecOps practices.
  • Scripting complex solutions and solving problems by automating manual tasks.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • 2+ years of experience in Continuous Integration, Build & Deployment Automation.
  • Excellent understanding of DevOps and CI/CD.
  • Knowledge of Jenkins and Declarative Pipelines.
  • Experience with Git, Maven, Groovy, Docker/Containerization.
  • Experience working in software lifecycle management.
  • General knowledge of quality processes associated with development workflows.
  • Knowledge of branching strategies.
  • Relevant third-level IT qualification.
  • Experience working in agile delivery environments.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.

Preferred experience includes:

  • Working with Azure cloud.
  • Working with Kubernetes environments.
  • Working in Java Enterprise application contexts.
  • Working in configuration management tools like Ansible.
