Job Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing gas appliances and systems in residential and commercial properties.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Basic maths skills for calculations related to installations and repairs are also essential.

A certification in relevant gas safety regulations is required (e.g., Gas Safe Register). A proactive approach to health and safety practices within the workplace is expected.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain and repair gas appliances and systems.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Assemble and disassemble components using hand tools and power tools.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
  • Provide excellent customer service.

Required Skills:

A combination of the following skills and qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Proven experience as a Gas Engineer.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Basic maths skills for calculations related to installations and repairs.
  • Certification in relevant gas safety regulations.
