Facade Design Expert needed for international projects.
We are seeking an ambitious and talented Facade Design Engineer to join our team of professionals who share a passion for delivering high-quality facade solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, analyzing, and managing the implementation of facade systems for commercial buildings and complex infrastructure developments.
Job OverviewThe Facade Design Engineer will work closely with architects, structural engineers, and project managers to ensure that facade solutions meet technical and aesthetic standards while also ensuring energy efficiency and sustainability.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design and develop facade systems in collaboration with the wider project team.
- Provide technical input to ensure compliance with safety standards, building regulations, and client requirements.
- Perform structural analysis of facade components and materials.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and manufacturers to source and implement facade solutions.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure the quality of facade installations.
- Manage facade design documentation and specifications, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project goals.
- Ensure facade systems contribute to energy efficiency and sustainability targets.
- Collaborate with architects and other stakeholders to ensure facade designs meet aesthetic expectations.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in facade design or engineering.
- Strong understanding of materials science, building physics, and structural engineering principles as they apply to facade systems.
- Proficiency in engineering and design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant tools.
- Familiarity with building regulations and standards, particularly in relation to facade systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering on time and within budget.
