Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled MICE Sales Professional to join our team.

Responsibilities will include managing and growing a portfolio of Irish-based MICE accounts, including corporates, charities, associations, institutions, and preferred partner conference agents and venue finders.

  • Proactively identify and convert new business opportunities within the domestic MICE market through strategic sales planning, appointments, sales calls, site inspections, and participation in trade shows, fam trips, and networking events.
  • Deliver the annual MICE sales plan and achieve sales targets by maximising revenue from existing and new accounts through effective account management and cross-selling within the hotel group.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' proactive Hotel Sales experience in a target-driven sales environment. A bachelor's degree with strong business acumen performance is also preferred.

  • Strong administrative skills and an ability to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Irish and Dublin corporate market is an advantage.
  • Sales focused, target and results driven, with a Track record in sales target success and over-achievement essential.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be a self-starter, a strong closer, with multi-tasking ability and excellent levels of personal motivation and organisation.

Effective communication skills are crucial, as well as the capacity to provide clear written reports.

Commercial awareness and good understanding of yield management are also essential.
