Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Private Equity Fund Accountant to oversee client service delivery and monitoring of key clients.

The successful candidate will formulate and implement key client service programs, liaise internally with all operational areas to ensure awareness of all key client requirements, visit clients on a periodic basis to evaluate service quality and identify client priorities, assist in the resolution of complex client issues, manage escalations and complaints within the team and within the department, manage train and assist assigned account managers in the successful running of their teams, participate in the review of procedures and policies and supervision of managers to ensure adherence to these procedures, liaison with clients regarding reporting requirements and deadlines ensuring delivery in an accurate and timely manner, responsible for continuous risk assessment of current and potential new funds under administration, identify issues concerns and recommend company wide solutions for any all high risk projects, responsible for managing operational risks monthly reporting on status reports and key development issues.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Private Equity Fund Accountant with:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance or related discipline or professional accounting designation.
  • 7-10 years of experience in Financial Services preferably with exposure to Product Control Operations or Fund Accounting environments within PE.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Private Equity Fund Accounting.
  • Skills in negotiation business planning and budgeting margin analysis rating agency relations and technical accounting.
  • Familiarity with Investran or other Private Equity software packages highly advantageous.
  • Experience in developing implementing and optimising business processes and projects.
  • Knowledge of International GAAP IFRS Accounting Principles.
  • Strong leadership skills supervisory experience.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced computer skills Microsoft Excel.
