Business Modelling Opportunity

This is a senior role within the Risk Consulting team, focused on designing and developing complex business models. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and technical modelling, with excellent knowledge of Excel and experience in data management and manipulation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Model Development: Design, develop and document complex business models to support clients' needs.
  • Risk Identification: Review strategies to validate client's models and identify potential risks.
  • Analytical Solutions: Develop analytical and reporting solutions using SQL, extracting data from large datasets and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Analysis and Presentation: Carry out relevant analysis and present findings to clients (written and oral).
  • Project Scope: Contribute to developing an outline of key client issues and the scope of work for assurance projects with an IT element.
  • Project Delivery: Deliver high-quality work within agreed timescales, meeting tight deadlines in a project environment where additional hours may be required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Proficiency: Excellent knowledge of Excel, with experience in MS Access; SQL Server; Data Visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI); Statistical packages (e.g. MATLAB, SPSS) and programming languages (e.g. VBA, C++, R or Python).
  • Data Management: Experience in data modelling and management, integration and manipulation of large datasets.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong financial acumen and knowledge of wider commercial, business and economic issues.
  • Candidate Profile: Experienced professional with excellent written and oral communication skills, able to think logically through problems from start to finish.
