Energy Efficiency Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Energy Efficiency Specialist to lead our mechanical engineering scope of energy efficiency and sustainability projects.

About the Role:

This role will ensure the successful delivery of mechanical systems from design through implementation, collaborating closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage the mechanical workstream lifecycle, including system design, contractor coordination, site visits, and commissioning.
  • Design, specify, and optimise mechanical systems, such as HVAC, heat pumps, and energy-efficient technologies.
  • Develop technical documentation and project specifications for mechanical installations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, electrical engineers, and energy consultants to integrate mechanical systems into holistic project designs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally in energy efficiency, HVAC, renewable energy, or sustainability projects.
  • Proven experience in managing client relationships and delivering engineering solutions in a project management capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems and energy-efficient building technologies.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of cross-functional teams.
