Job Description\

Our organization is seeking an exceptional EHS Specialist to join our Environmental Health & Safety team. This individual will provide technical guidance to the site and ongoing projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal requirements related to safety, as well as our company's corporate standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines, and industry best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications\
  • \
  • Minimum Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or a related Safety or Environmental field of study.\
  • Required Experience and Skills:\
    • \
    • At least 7 years of EHS, Engineering, or Operational experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, biochemical, petrochemical, or process-related industries.\
    • In-depth knowledge of Irish H&S and Environmental Legislation and regulations.\
    • High Risk Work program (Electrical safety, LOTO, Hot work, confined space etc) and Contractor Management experience beneficial.\
    • Ability to maintain focus on key goals and priorities, but also analyze the detail to facilitate problem resolution and ensure project success.\
    • Proven record of success in the EHS sector.\
    • Experience on supporting multiple activities/projects.\
    • Experience in managing and implementing change.\
    • Strong ability to influence others across departments and at all levels of the organization.\
    • Safety First mind-set. Desire to protect employees and environment.\
