IT Support Specialist Wanted

Build IT from the Ground Up

A dynamic, fast-paced national organisation is looking for its first in-house IT Support Specialist. With 51 current staff and growing across 3 locations and no existing IT team, this is your chance to lay the foundations and shape the future of IT in a growing company.

  • The Role:
  • Provide day-to-day IT support across all locations
  • Manage new staff onboarding (hardware/software)
  • Track and resolve technical issues via a ticketing system
  • Liaise with external vendors and consultants
  • Ensure security, certification, and recovery processes are in place
  • Support audit activities and recommend infrastructure improvements
  • Assist in reviewing and building out the organisation's IT roadmap

What You'll Do:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality IT services to meet business needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address IT-related issues
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to improve IT systems and processes
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in IT

Requirements:

Experience in a similar role doing IT Support, Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, Solid knowledge of Microsoft environments, Ability to stay calm under pressure and respond quickly to issues or outages, Must have a degree in Computer Science or relative field / certs

The Plan:

This is a full-time 3-year role with a review 6 months before the end to determine the long-term IT needs of the organisation – whether that means extending, evolving, or expanding the position.
