Psychiatric Nursing Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Psychiatric Nurse to join our team. As a Psychiatric Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients with acute mental health conditions in a day hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist nursing care to patients with acute mental health conditions
  • Manage medications effectively and safely
  • Conduct thorough nursing assessments to inform patient care
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to meet individual patient needs
  • Participate in group work sessions as part of a collaborative approach to care
Requirements:
  • Registered Psychiatric Nurse (NMBI) with a minimum of 3 years post-registration experience
  • Group work experience desirable, but not essential
  • Proven experience working as a mental health nurse in Ireland
  • Availability to work a minimum of 3 days per week for continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes
