We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team in South Dublin.
The successful candidate will work in a 123-bed mental health service providing a range of supports and services with a specialist interest in neuropsychiatric services for adults with serious and enduring mental health needs.
Our service focuses on creating a therapeutic environment using recovery-oriented clinical practices and evidence-based interventions.
Care is delivered through a multidisciplinary team including Psychiatry, Psychology, Nursing, Pharmacy, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language, Dietetics, Physiotherapy, and General Practice.
To be considered eligible, interested applicants must:
- Hold specialist registration with The Irish Medical Council, with a subspecialized interest in either Psychiatry of Later Life or Neuropsychiatry.
- Have a minimum of seven years postgraduate experience.
- Possess people management experience or hold a position of additional responsibility in a clinical area.
- Proven track record in leading change and developing clinical services.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual with solid experience working collaboratively with a diverse team of clinicians and strong knowledge of Clinical Governance.
