Job Title: Care Support Specialist\

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide individualized support and care to service users, promoting independence, inclusion, and self-advocacy. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build respectful relationships and empower individuals to make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Service Users: Provide daily living support, promote community participation, and facilitate decision-making and personal growth.
  • Maintain Confidentiality: Respect the identity, choices, and need for emotional safety and privacy of service users.
  • Empower Individuals: Assist individuals in pursuing their goals, interests, culture, and values in ways that reflect dignity and respect.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A CORU registration or in process of registration
  • QQI Level 7 Bachelor of Arts in Applied Social Studies (Disability)
  • A qualification received outside the State recognised by NARIC as equivalent to the Irish Level 7 award
  • Fluent English required
