Job Title: Project Coordinator

The role of Project Coordinator is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract position. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective direction and co-ordination of human, financial, and material resources.

Main Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Implement an efficient and effective accounting system in line with sound accounting procedures and conventions.
  • Participant Payroll: Manage participants' payroll, bank account, and PRSI returns.
  • Cash Security: Ensure payment of participant allowances and security of cash/equipment.
Training & Development
  • Staff Training: Fully participate in the Supervisor Development Programme.
  • Learner Needs Analysis: Carry out Identification of Learner Needs process with each participant on the project.
  • Learning Plans: Prepare Individual Learning Plans for each participant and implement approved training and development opportunities.
Human Resources
  • Schedule Planning: Plan and co-ordinate work schedules for participants.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with participants through Team Meetings and individual meetings.
  • Cultural Awareness: Develop mutual understanding with participants regarding their needs and backgrounds.
Project Implementation
  • Manual Execution: Execute the Community Employment Procedures Manual.
  • Workplace Standards: Ensure work areas meet appropriate housekeeping standards and provide a safe environment for participants.
Requirements
  • Education: Major Award at 3rd level (QQI Level 6 or higher) in Business/Financial Administration, Training, Human Resources, Project Management, or related disciplines.
  • Experience: Previous supervisory and people management experience relevant to the post (3 years minimum).

Prioritise collaboration and teamwork to achieve desired outcomes.
