Elderly Care Nursing Manager Position

The Clinical Nurse Manager is a senior role that involves leading and implementing change in an elderly care nursing home. The ideal candidate will have experience working with elderly individuals, demonstrating leadership, innovation, and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and implementing change to meet HIQA standards
  • Developing and maintaining high-quality nursing care practices
  • Carrying out audits of all aspects of nursing care
  • Overseeing the reception and supervision of new residents
  • Assessing and planning individualized care plans for residents' physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs
  • Providing support and guidance to nursing staff
  • Maintaining a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of nursing home experience in Ireland with at least 5 years of nursing experience
  • Management experience, preferably in SSN or CNM roles, but not essential
  • Effective communication skills with clear English language proficiency
  • Interest in gerontology or other relevant areas of nursing
