Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Café Operations Manager to oversee the running of a busy food operation.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a hands-on role within a catering, chef or management environment, with a strong background in KPI management and excellent understanding of food hygiene.

  • Manage the deli team, planning workloads and ensuring tasks are completed correctly.
  • Ensure proper stock ordering and control, including ordering and inventory management.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and HACCP compliance.
  • Train new staff members and provide ongoing training for existing staff.
Key Responsibilities

Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day running of the bakery, coffee dock and deli, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality products.

Team Leadership: Manage the deli team, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their responsibilities and goals.

Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, ordering supplies as needed and managing stock levels to minimize waste.

Food Safety: Ensure all food safety and hygiene protocols are followed, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Training and Development: Provide onboarding and training for new staff members, as well as ongoing development opportunities for existing staff.
