Veterinary Care Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to fill this challenging position in Galway. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work autonomously across consultations, surgery, diagnostics, and emergency care.
The ideal candidate will be a VCI registered Veterinary Surgeon with solid small animal general practice experience, confidence in sole charge, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You will enjoy working in a modern, purpose-built clinic equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound, IDEXX lab suite, and dental X-ray coming soon. Our relaxed pace of work allows time for thorough case work-ups and meaningful client interactions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage everything from first opinion consultations and diagnostics to soft tissue surgeries and scheduled emergency care
- Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team comprising four experienced vets, four skilled veterinary nurses, and a dedicated practice manager
- Provide outstanding clinical care using state-of-the-art equipment and facilities
Requirements:
- VCI registration as a Veterinary Surgeon
