Senior Mechanical Engineer Job Description

This role offers a unique opportunity to work as a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Dublin. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and design, with experience in leading teams and managing multiple projects.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Deliver complex projects from concept to completion in collaboration with the wider team.
    • Design and develop mechanical services for various projects, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines and standards.
    • Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
    • Engage directly with clients, representing the company in client-facing roles.
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 8-10 years' post-graduate experience in Mechanical Engineering/Building Services.
  • Level 8/9 degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering/Building Services, with a strong background in design engineering.
  • Chartered Engineering status or working towards it is an advantage.
  • Experience in designing mechanical services for various projects, including Healthcare, Residential, Education, Commercial, and Industrial projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit MEP and Building Services Design Software.
  • Strong knowledge of Energy-Efficient Design and renewable energy solutions.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Full current driver's license and access to your own vehicle.
