Business Operations Manager

Applegreen is a leading convenience roadside retailer with a strong presence in the Republic of Ireland, UK and US. We operate large-scale Motorway Service Areas, Travel Plazas and smaller petrol stations.

The company has experienced significant growth, managing over 600 Motorway Service Plazas and forecourt sites internationally, employing over 16,000 people worldwide.

Our products and services include large-scale food and beverage operations, convenience stores and roadside refuelling services.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily business operations at our Applegreen Waterford, Cleaboy site.

This includes operating the site in accordance with our operations manual, policies and procedures.

The role also involves driving sales and achieving sales targets by implementing effective sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage site operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including cash management and stock control.
  • Lead and motivate employees through training, coaching and development.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • A positive attitude, strong communication skills and enjoyment of customer interaction.
