Job Title: Duty Manager

\

Waterford-based hotel seeks a dynamic Duty Manager to lead daily operations, drive revenue and guest satisfaction. Key responsibilities include managing food and beverage operations, monitoring reservations systems and handling guest queries.

  • Support Heads of Department in all outlets\
  • Oversee and coordinate hotel operations, ensuring highest standards of service delivery\
  • Lead daily morning briefings to ensure clear communication across departments\
  • Assist with staff recruitment, training, development and performance management\
  • Support the creation and enforcement of policies, departmental KPIs and operational targets\
  • Assist with cost control across food, labour and overheads\
  • Work closely with department heads to drive revenue opportunities and maximize space\
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)\
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve hotel operations and increase efficiency\\
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures\\
  • Other duties as assigned by the Deputy General Manager\\
  • Flexible to work a mix of mornings, evenings and weekends\\
  • Previous supervisory or Duty Manager experience within a hotel or hospitality setting required\\
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills with ability to multitask under pressure\\
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest satisfaction\\
  • Knowledge of reservations and property management systems desirable\\
  • Competitive salary starting from €32,000 depending on experience\\
