Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team. As a key member of the utilities department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and ensuring the efficient operation of our pharmaceutical environment.

  • Work as part of the utilities team and plan work activities in line with maintenance and process schedules
  • Assist in commissioning activities, project support, and equipment vendor maintenance
  • Manage and support service or equipment vendors when undertaking maintenance activities
  • Liaise with discipline leads to coordinate activities for efficient execution of maintenance activities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop cost-saving and energy-reduction initiatives on utility systems, update GMP maintenance documents and drawings, and conduct corrective and preventative maintenance on all operational equipment.

">Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Apprenticeship or 3rd level qualification with mechanical experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in mechanical utilities or process maintenance
  • Experience working within the pharmaceutical or biologics industry
  • Strong practical mechanical knowledge
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and system P&IDs

Audit awareness is essential, and you must be able to follow relevant SOPs and procedures when completing maintenance tasks.
