Job Description

As a senior cost accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing global manufacturing and supply chain finance operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Month-end close processes involving operating overheads, balance sheet reconciliations, and submission of close deliverables.
  • Accounting for manufacturing activities, including material purchases, overhead absorption, and contract manufacturing costs.
  • Ensuring accurate accounting for buy/sell entities and intercompany inventory transactions.
  • Developing an understanding of material flow from bulk manufacturing through to fill/finish stage to ensure accuracy of inventory values.
  • Monitoring production plans for bulk manufacturing and CMO activity to ensure accurate inventory valuation and completeness of overhead absorption.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, collaborating extensively with regional and global finance teams and technical operations teams. Additionally, you will participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive process efficiencies and contribute to transformation projects as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • AACI or equivalent professional certification is essential.
  • Experience in a multinational organization is necessary.
  • Costing experience is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley is advantageous.
