Job Title: Commercial Property Portfolio ManagerThe role requires a seasoned professional with exceptional commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with brokers and insurers.Key Responsibilities:
  1. Product Management/Revenue Generation
  • Develop financial forecasts and actuals, and implement agreed strategies within business areas.
  • Review underperforming products, analyze, and develop remediation plans.
  • Continuously review existing product offerings against competitors, assessing rating competitiveness, features, benefits, customer experience feedback, and potential new additional covers.
  • Report on monthly progress, clearly identifying reasons for any difference in plan and progress on strategic plans.
Client Satisfaction and Key Relationship Management
  • Maintain strong relationships with business partners and agree strategic plans with stakeholders.
  • Review strategic plans regularly and actual performance with stakeholders.
  • Act as a product manager, setting and agreeing rating structures for products and reviewing product offerings features.
  • Track market trends and external factors affecting products or performance.
Compliance & Operations
  • Ensure daily service levels are met or exceeded in conjunction with Team leaders.
  • Review business processes for efficiencies and liaise with internal/external providers to approve and apply system changes.
  • Hold regular meetings with Operations and Sales team leads to ensure sales and service levels are met.
  • Ensure compliance with all external and internal best practices and regulatory requirements.
People Management
  • Support planning for resource allocation and facilitate professional development of key staff members.
  • Communicate strategies and actual performance to teams regularly.
Requirements:
  • A CIP qualification is desirable.
  • Previous experience managing a large commercial property portfolio is essential.
  • Good interpersonal, organisational, and analytical skills are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Excel, is necessary.
