Job Summary:
Highr is seeking a highly skilled Site Engineer to oversee construction activities on a major residential development project in Dublin. The successful candidate will assist in the preparation of site plans and project schedules, ensure compliance with safety standards, and maintain quality of materials and workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop accurate site plans and project schedules to guarantee timely completion.
Conduct regular inspections and tests to monitor quality of materials and workmanship.
Manage materials, equipment, and labor on-site effectively.
Maintain precise records of site activities, including daily logs, reports, and progress updates.
Identify and resolve site-related issues promptly to minimize delays.
Ensure all safety regulations are followed and promote a safe working environment.
Provide technical advice and support to site workers and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a Site Engineer role working on construction/civil engineering projects.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and technology.
Effective verbal and written communication skills to liaise with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
Ability to identify issues and propose effective solutions quickly.
