Job Title

Leads a team of production operators and technicians to achieve manufacturing targets.

  • Ensures compliance with SOPs for batch manufacturing, including filling, capping, and sealing as required.
  • Conducts preventative maintenance on equipment, calibration, and checks on schedule.
  • Participates in lean initiatives, such as 6S, Kaizen, Kanban, and Lean.
  • Manages waste streams and ensures correct storage before disposal.
  • Communicates material requirements to team members.
  • Maintains health and safety standards and housekeeping within the cell.
  • Troubleshoots production issues and works closely with colleagues for QC and planning to meet demand requirements.
  • Identifies and implements improvements to increase efficiency and capacity.
  • Trains and mentors production operators and technicians.
  • Assists with upskilling and cross-training when required.

Qualifications:

  • Holds a 3rd-level science qualification in chemistry or relevant discipline, or minimum ordinary level degree.
  • Has at least 3 years' experience in high-quality manufacturing environments.
  • Possesses excellent knowledge and experience of batch chemical manufacturing, ISO17025, IS09001:2009, Good Laboratory Practice, and chemistry.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to prioritize and organize in a deadline-driven environment.
