
Manufacturing Technician

Hobson Prior is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join a dynamic team focused on producing advanced gene therapy products.
In this role, you will work in a cleanroom environment, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) while contributing to the production and improvement of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMP).
This position operates on a three-shift pattern and includes a monthly shift bonus of €1000.
Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.
Responsibilities:
Perform manufacturing tasks to produce high-quality gene therapy products.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, always ready for inspection.
Follow safety guidelines and report any health or safety concerns.
Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
Ensure all work complies with GMP, Data Integrity, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Complete required training before starting any tasks.
Handle materials safely and ensure they are prepared and managed correctly for production.
Sanitize and monitor the facility to prevent contamination.
Accurately document all activities and close out tasks in a timely manner.
Key Skills and Requirements:
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment with high hygiene standards.
Basic IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Previous experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Right to live and work in the Republic of Ireland.
