Overview

Hobson Prior is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join a dynamic team focused on producing advanced gene therapy products. In this role, you will work in a cleanroom environment, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) while contributing to the production and improvement of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMP). This position operates on a three-shift pattern and includes a monthly shift bonus of €1000.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities
  • Perform manufacturing tasks to produce high-quality gene therapy products.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, always ready for inspection.
  • Follow safety guidelines and report any health or safety concerns.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Ensure all work complies with GMP, Data Integrity, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Complete required training before starting any tasks.
  • Handle materials safely and ensure they are prepared and managed correctly for production.
  • Sanitize and monitor the facility to prevent contamination.
  • Accurately document all activities and close out tasks in a timely manner.
Key Skills and Requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
  • Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment with high hygiene standards.
  • Basic IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Previous experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Right to live and work in the Republic of Ireland.
