
Paid Social Media Strategic Leader

As a Paid Social Media Leader, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day implementation of strategy through aligned paid social planning, campaign and performance management. You will monitor, optimize and manage all paid social activity against KPIs set, budgets allocated, and relevant timelines and SLAs.
Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Develop first-class paid social media plans for assigned clients in the context of strategy and objectives briefed by client teams
- Create thorough paid social media plan rationales for those clients and briefs requiring it
- Plan and manage paid social campaigns from start to finish including but not limited to campaign set-up, ongoing management, insight and analysis, financial management – ensuring deliverables are met on time and on budget
- Evaluate best practice and innovation in all paid social activities
- Delegate, accurately brief and oversee the work of junior team members
- Assist with client interactions as and when required (e.g. briefing sessions, post campaign analysis, QBRs etc.)
- Builde strong relationships with other teams within the broader social team, other specialist teams and client teams
- Similarly builde and maintain strong relationships with external suppliers
- Stay abreast of changes in the digital marketing landscape in particular as they relate to paid social media
- Input to media audit processes from a paid social perspective for your respective clients as required
- Manage, mentor and develop direct reports

- A strong knowledge of the paid social landscape
- The ability to produce paid social media plans to a high standard with accompanying rationale

The Experience & Qualifications Needed
You will need:
- A strong knowledge of paid social media
- A broad understanding of other channels in the digital marketing mix
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Some client and people management experience
- Financial acumen
- Effective time management, delegation and project management skills
Measures of Success
You will be measured on:
- Client satisfaction (TRR scores)
- Client formal feedback for PRIPs
- Effectiveness of paid social strategies for your clients
- Award entries
- Media audit performance
