Job Description:

The Mastercard Decision Management Program has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Principal Engineer who will provide architectural and technical direction to the platform. This role will focus on providing technical guidance to our team on the design and build of highly complex platform capabilities that are scalable and resilient. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design of solutions that meet the needs of multiple stakeholders and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide architectural and technical direction to the platform to ensure scalability and resilience.
  • Design solutions for highly complex platform capabilities that meet business requirements.
  • Lead a growing team of software engineers and provide technical leadership and guidance.
  • Define the technical vision and strategy with DMP leadership and peers.
  • Drive standards and frameworks across the enterprise.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong technical leadership skills with experience in managing high-performing teams.
  • Expertise in software engineering with a track record of delivering mission-critical systems.
  • Demonstrated innovative thought-leadership and ability to leverage new technologies to solve technical challenges.
  • Proven record of operational excellence and ability to create a collaborative engineering environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience in working across multiple sites and teams.
