Job Overview

The role of Senior Accountant presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial success of an esteemed biopharmaceutical organisation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading end-to-end record to report month end and quarter end procedures, ensuring seamless collaboration with outsourced providers, and maintaining accounting compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and execute month end and quarter end procedures, including revenue accounting and operating expense journal entry reviews.
  • Effectively collaborate with outsourced providers to ensure accurate and complete performance of tasks.
  • Work closely with Finance colleagues, staying up-to-date on local market developments and determining appropriate accounting treatments.
  • Ensure accounting compliance with relevant accounting principles.
  • Review monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner.
  • Support statutory audits and year end integrated audit effort.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 years experience
  • Pharma experience is beneficial
  • SAP, Blackline, & Qlik experience is advantageous
