About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to take on a leadership position within our Children's Residential home. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support for the children and young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Social Care team to deliver a high-quality service that promotes young people's safety, well-being, and development.
  • Contribute to the development of the service and implement plans.
  • Ensure effective day-to-day running of the residential care setting, within the framework of policies and procedures and statutory regulations.
  • Protect young people from harm inside and outside of the home.
Requirements
  • Minimum QQI level 7 qualification in social care or equivalent.
  • Four years full-time work experience in a children's residential care setting post-qualification.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
  • A full clean driver's license which has been held for more than one year.
