Career Opportunity for Social Care Professional

We are seeking an experienced Social Care Professional to fill a challenging role in our Children Residential Service.

Our well-established client is expanding and has opened a new service for displaced children and young people who are separated from their families and place of origin, seeking asylum, and preparing them for an onward placement.

The residential unit is located near Ballinagh, Co. Cavan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Minimum of five years' direct experience of working in residential childcare, and/or managing services to vulnerable children and young people.
  • Professional degree (min level 7) in Social Care or relevant qualification
  • Experience in managing children residential services
  • Level 6 management qualification
  • Full driving license and access to own transport
  • Working knowledge of legislation and HIQA standards of care.
