Automation Expert Wanted

We are seeking an accomplished automation professional to collaborate with our team in delivering technical solutions across various platforms and technologies.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with automation systems and be capable of overseeing technical consultancy, front-end engineering, and system integration projects. They will provide guidance, conduct investigations, and resolve technical issues while taking on a mentorship role for junior engineers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Contribution to projects across multiple platforms and technologies.
  • Advocacy for new technologies and innovative solutions to meet business needs.
  • Front-end engineering project responsibilities including scope development, user requirements specification, system architectures, functional specifications, and vendor proposal reviews.
  • Technical consultancy project responsibilities including automation strategy development, guideline creation, data security assessments, and system architecture design.
  • System integration responsibilities including process control system design and configuration, technical issue resolution, and customer relationship management.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • At least 8 years' experience implementing and supporting automation systems within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industries.
  • Minimum 2 years in a senior role with responsibility for technical aspects of automation project delivery.
  • Technical qualification at third level (or equivalent) in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
  • Strong project management, technical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision on various technologies and project lifecycles.
