Job Purpose Statement

The role of a skilled gardener is crucial to maintaining the highest standards in horticulture. Our company seeks a passionate and motivated individual with a professional approach to deliver exceptional results.

Our projects are designed to showcase the very best in landscaping, across various high-end developments in Dublin. We operate in public spaces, roof terraces, parks, and commercial areas, providing a unique opportunity for growth and development.

The successful candidate will be based at Wilton Place, Dublin, and will have the opportunity to work on diverse schemes, developing their skills and expertise in horticulture.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Punctuality and reliability
  • Implementing landscape maintenance plans to meet the highest standards
  • Assisting supervisors in compiling maintenance reports, noting any issues or concerns
  • Ensuring all Health and Safety requirements are met, reviewing and signing RAMS as necessary
  • Watering non-irrigated areas according to seasonal needs
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, including mowing, edging, trimming, and pruning trees, shrubs, and herbaceous plants
  • Planting, transplanting, and caring for trees and shrubs, adhering to seasonal requirements
  • Applying fertilizers and feed, following safety guidelines and regulations
  • Maintaining equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition, and reporting any replacements needed
  • Maintaining cleanliness and safety in work areas, adhering to health and safety regulations
Required QualificationsKnowledge / Technical:
  • Previous experience in soft landscaping management and maintenance
  • A recognised horticultural qualification
  • Professional qualification in landscape management and/or horticulture (QQI Level 5 minimum)
  • CSCS card
  • Ability to work full-time and travel across Dublin
  • Driving License (preferred)
