Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Platform Support Lead
This role oversees the technical support team responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimising Data Loss Prevention systems. The ideal candidate will ensure the DLP platforms operate effectively to protect sensitive data and comply with organisational security policies.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and mentor a team of technical support engineers specialising in DLP platforms.
  2. Ensure timely resolution of support tickets and adherence to Service Level Agreements.
  3. Tune and upgrade system components, following internal testing and change management processes.
  4. Work with key stakeholders and vendors to implement new or additional DLP capabilities to enhance our risk-driven data protection.
  5. Contribute to projects that improve current DLP capabilities, drive adoption, and enable future growth.
  6. Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
  7. Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues related to DLP platforms.


Skill Requirements:
  • Experience operating and supporting DLP tools across multiple security domains such as: Network, Email, Endpoint and Web.
  • Exposure to, and knowledge of enterprise DLP platforms eg Symantec DLP, Digital Guardian Endpoint DLP, ProofPoint, Microsoft Purview.
  • Strong skills managing application deployments, configurations and updates running on Linux operating systems, with a strong knowledge of Linux commands, file systems, permissions and process management.
  • Understanding and working knowledge of current data protection, information security and cyber security practices and techniques.
  • Direct experience managing, mentoring and leading teams.
  • A collaborative approach to solving technical challenges and improving security.
