Dlp Governance Specialist

State Street seeks a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Governance Analyst to gather, analyze, and enrich data for utilization on scorecards and related governance reporting within the State Street environment.

This role requires an individual with deep knowledge of DLP, including experience with endpoint, network, and cloud coverage, context-aware detection, policy tuning, and data classification within an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce regular reporting related to the governance of the DLP Program to assess compliance with the Information Protection Standard
  • Distribute reporting to various committees, councils, and regulatory reporting forums as required
  • Engage with teams across State Street and vendors to perform related governance functions

Requirements:

  • A deep understanding of DLP governance
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with cybersecurity governance, information protection governance, AI and machine learning governance related to encryption and data loss prevention, or related functions demonstrated through work, military, or education
  • Experience using ticket tracking tools for change management, tracking, and reporting demonstrated through work, military, or education
  • Strong background in cybersecurity and Data Loss Prevention
