Compliance Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of compliance standards, policies, procedures, and processes to ensure organizational integrity and adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments impacting the organization, providing timely insights and recommendations for effective implementation.
  • Offer expert advice and support on compliance matters related to new initiatives, programs, products, and services, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Assist in preparing comprehensive compliance reports for executive management and boards of directors, as required.
  • Design and deliver training programs for employees at all levels on key compliance-related topics and matters.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and guidelines, including those related to individual accountability and probity.
  • Coordinate responses to regulatory information and documentation requests, as needed.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory filings, adhering to relevant deadlines and requirements.
  • Provide guidance on licensing queries and compliance monitoring and testing activities.
  • Collaborate with group compliance colleagues to ensure consistent implementation of group-wide policies and requirements. Minimum Requirements:

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Professional certification in compliance or a related field.
  • Thorough understanding of Irish and European regulatory environments, including CBI prudential and consumer requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
  • Proven ability to work independently and thrive in a team-based environment.
  • Exceptional stakeholder relationship-building skills, with adaptability to business needs.
  • Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
