Senior Manufacturing Engineer Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead projects in a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing significant engineering projects, ensuring the quality of processes and products, and driving process improvements. They will also be able to provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers and technicians.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Manage complex engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
  • Quality and Process Improvement: Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and support to engineers and technicians on technical matters, including problem-solving and technical troubleshooting.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including management, colleagues, and external partners, to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Education: A Level 8 Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: At least 4 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong background in project management, quality assurance, and technical leadership.
Desirable Skills:
  • Project Management Certification: Certified Project Manager (CPM) or equivalent.
  • Lean Six Sigma: Black Belt certification or equivalent.
  • Communication and Influencing: Proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, and influence decision-making.
